Shower Care
After having a new shower installed, all you want to do is keep that new shower feel! The feeling of a new clean shower is amazing to get into on a morning to energize and wake you up or on an evening after a long tiring day. Showers need to be cleaned regularly to avoid the build up of dirt and grime. We often say once a week to our customers is the best, especially if you have a whole family using it.
To keep your shower in good condition it is recommended that residual water spots should be removed after each use. Now what we mean by this is use a towel or squeegee to remove the water. Keep it in the shower on a hook so that you don't forget to use it.
To clean your shower weekly use a mild soap and hot water with a soft cleaning cloth/ sponge. If you have a shower liner never push hard onto it, just wipe. Avoid using cleaning solutions that contain:
Abrasives
Alcohol
Solvents
Bleach
Citrus
Acid or Alkaline
Ammonia or Peroxides
At LSI for all new shower installations we recommend using ClearShield Surface Restore and Protect. It seals and protects the glass by using a polymeric resin that fill in the pores of your glass. The glass is then protected from limescale, soap scum, bacteria and greasy fingermarks
This system can also restore your old shower glass. This system unlike any other is safe for your family as it does not contain any nano particles. It removes all of the organic and inorganic contaminants and will give your glass that "as new" feel.
ClearShield have a range of environmentally and glass safe cleaning products available at affordable prices.
